Former Ambitiouz Entertainment star and African Trap Movement forerunner have garnered three different gold certification plaques for his 2021 album ‘Logan.’ The gold plaques are for the singles ”Ithemba,’ ‘Long Way’ and ‘Logan.’ Logan is Emtee’s long-delayed third album and follow-up to 2017’s ‘Manando.’
Emtee has had a rough but steady climb back to the top since his nasty legal scuffle with former label Ambitiouz Entertainment.
Seems like the Matatiele-born rapper is finally getting back to his old self after beating a ‘lean’ addiction and recently gave a spectacular guest performance on two songs on Nasty C’s recently released Ivyson Army Tour Mixtape.

“I remember contacting Portable telling him i rep the streets in Cameroon and we could do a song together. I sent him links and he even subscribed to my YouTube channel. Last week i woke up to portable naming his Album « Voice of the Streets » same as i had named my album VOTS months before his. Amapiano artist Sizwe Alakine formerly known rapper Reason has called out his industry colleague AKA for certain provoking lyrics on his latest song ‘Lemons’ with Nasty C.
The lyrics read ”People say “Hip hop died”, that’s nonsense / Thank God they showed their true colours / Switched up piano like vultures.”
Reason took to Twitter to speak his mind about the sentiments of the Cape Town rapper’s words and he how he feels about it, stating that AKA has is showcasing double standards and not living what he preaches.
The tweet read “Hearing @akaworldwide say “Thank God they showed they true colours/ Switched up piano like Vultures” is problematic to me. Especially from a hip hop artist saying this on an Afrobeat record. Like… who you talking about exactly?”. Reason went on to say “031 Choppa, Big Zulu, Costa, Blxckie, Reason, Kwesta… are all hip hop artists who make piano. Does that line mean @akaworldwide considers all of us as vultures for that? Like? You make AfroBeat records my nigga. Why you the only one that can “switch” genres???
Enjoy the visuals of Lemons below.

Cameroon’s serial hitmaker @ko_c visited some orphanages in his hometown Kumba to provide some basic necessities to orphans there
Here is what the singer/rapper had to say about this act of his:
“I have always loved to give back to the needy, most especially the orphans. Giving back to the needy is partnering with God almighty and He is always faithful with His partnerships.
The Ko-c Foundation in collaboration with Boch Global Service took the initiative to visit some orphanages in the Southwest Region KUMBA and provide the kids with basic necessities and school materials to kickstart the academic year.
The blessings you tap from giving to the vulnerable most especially the orphans are unquantifiable. That’s why giving little can help a lot. Special thanks and appreciation to Kumba City Mayor Mr Greg Mewanu for his support.”
What do you make of this selfless gesture of his?
