Kwesta Joins the Beef, Swipes at Big Zulu on ‘Quantham.’

SA hip hop has been exciting recently, for the first time in a while thanks to Big Zulu who released an industry-wide diss track ‘150 Bars’ which has elicited fas to call on their faves to respond to the Zimbabwean. K.O replied with ‘Omega Fresstyle’ and Duncan i prepping his own response track ‘Big Ndundu’ dropping on Friday August 26th, 2022. Katlehong rapper Kwesta has responded to Big Zuu with a clever diss track titled ‘Quantham.’

The ‘Ngud’ rapper came for the kill as he threw some personal jabs at the Nkabi records boss.

In the song, Kwesta confirmed the rumors started by NOTA mentioned earlier that Big Zulu is renting Kwesta’s house. Kwesta kept his figurative foot on Zulu’s neck while delivering brutal vernacular bars that left several SA hip-hop audiences in awe.

”K.O did you in but you out there in my old crib craving for a win”

“It’s not even a diss track, ngithethisa nje groupie”

“Am a star clever mang’ngena cameras click flash ngazophandela la clever get your shit snatch bewuz’hambela kahle nj udlal i3 step where my car(vela) kyavez’inkabi spit(Spitz) trash”

” Bathi Zulu uyasabeka, basho uZakwe noZuluBoy, lo uZulu uyasabela “

“Uhlezi ufuna I verse ngivele ndik’meme, U rappe ngathi awulizwa I beat shame ngivele ngik’zwele.. “

“Ukhulubuse, kodwa ukhumbule Kuthi umshana kabani, bheka ngiyak Zuma”

“I am in a league where you don’t even rank “

“ngapha imali ngiyenza ng’lele ngithi mavuka indlul umbhede”

Kwesta has now got all of South Ah talking and it’s all up for debate on who came through with the hardest diss track between him and K.O.

Rapper Fecko Reveals How He Made His New Video ‘Work Chop’ With Just One Continuous Shot.

The first-ever ‘Take Back The Mic’ Champion, Ifeanyi Chukwuebuka Ibegbunam popularly known as Fecko has let the cat out of the bag on how he was able to make the visuals of his latest single, “Work Chop”.

He recently posted a short video of his radio interview with The Beat 99.9FM Lagos, on his Official Youtube Channel where he addressed the uniqueness of his new music video and how it was shot.

Daniji Emmanuel of HipHopAfrica reached out to Fecko, so as to have him shed more insight on the new video and the rapper revealed this;

“I recorded ‘Work Chop’ to inspire young people in Africa to become entrepreneurs. Na person wey work, go chop. The song was produced by Teck-Zilla and additional guitar by Akin Stringz.

We shot the music video in Accra, Ghana. It was directed by Yung Pabi, who also featured on the song alongside Villy. The unique concept about the video is that it was a continuous single shot. There was no break in between — from start to finish. So, we had to rehearse multiple times and create various sets before shooting. Last time I saw a video almost similar to ‘Work Chop’ is when Lil Wayne dropped ‘A Milli’. Much love to all the cast on set. They brought the visuals to life.

Our video has been getting rotation on MTV and other streaming platforms. Y’all need to check it out if you dig that undiluted Afrocentric vibe.”

You can check out the BTS Pictures from the making of the video below:
