0

During the Rock the Daisies weekend Blxckie was spotted shooting a video with Dreamville’s Bas, and before then he ad shared that his next project is ready and it’s called ‘THE4MULA’ following a similar titling pattern from his previous projects ‘B4NOW’ and ‘4LUV.’

Blxckie took to his socials to share snippets of what Somyama Nation should expect from the project and imploring them to expect it in stores by October 28th,2022.

Blxckie who blew up spitting the lyrics ‘ I treat that patty like krabby, cos I got the formula’ on 2020’s ‘Big Time Shlappa’ featuring Lucasraps, by maximising the internet and bringing the music closer to his fans.

Blxckie tweeted that he wants his day one fans to help him trend the project and he wants to do it the old school way by interacting with them directly and having them propagate the ‘gospel’ of the album.

The ”Sneaky’ hitmaker decided against opening a Whatsapp group and instead settled for Discord and asks for volunteers to help moderate and administer the Discord.

Blxckie was recently on K.O.’s summer smash hit ‘Sete‘ with Young Stunna and he absolutely killed it. We cannot wait fro what the new project has for us.

‘Sete’ Makes Way for ‘Lemons’ at Number 1 on the Radio Charts? AKA and Nota Disagree

After a ridiculous run at the top of all the streaming and radio charts in Mzansi, going double platinum in two months and hitting 8 million views on Youtube at the same time, K.O’s magnum opus single ‘Sete’ featuring Blxckie and Young Stunna seemed to have finally given way on the radio charts top spot to AKA and Nasty C’s ‘Lemons (Lemonade)’ track which has been trailing ‘Sete’ at #2 for weeks since it’s release. However, there has been some controversy surrounding this news.

While AKA took to Twitter to celebrate the milestone achievement being his first song to achieve this feat since ‘FREE.’ Controversial media figure Nota Baloyi went on Twitter to discredit AKA’s claims to having the country’s biggest song on Radio.

The music executive mentioned that AKA shared a radio chart that expired on Tuesday.

My wife has spent more weeks at #1 this decade that AKA, Black Motion & DJ Zinhle combined… It’s sad to see Kiernan making fake radio charts on Wednesday because he was #1 up to Tuesday & the chart is from Friday to Thursday each week, where he last topped the chart with FREE.” tweeted Nota.

An official response from neither AKA nor the official radio chart body has surfaced since Baloyi made these claims.

Let’s Discuss Blaqbonez “Back In Uni” Video. Diss Visual or Comedy Skit?

There have been rumours that Video Director, TG Omori has tagged Blaqbonez visuals for his latest release as a “Skit”.

The Video Director, TG Omori has therefore been roasted by Twitter influencers for calling Blaqbonez’s music video a ‘skit’.

It should be recalled that Blaqbonez took it upon himself to direct the music video for “Back In Uni” because he couldn’t afford the money TG Omori charged him.

Well, a few minutes after Blaqbonez released his music video, TG Omori tweeted “Skits“! A tweet which looked very much like a shade to Blaqbonez.

HipHop Journalist BigDan, pretty much thinks there is more than one person/character who was thrown a jab by Blaqbonez in the video and has taken to Twitter to ask people to mention other people dissed in the video. He tweeted;

“Morning Fams! Have you seen @BlaqBonez’s Video for “Back In Uni”?

Let’s do a roll call here.

How many people/characters did Blaqbonez diss/play in the video?”

What are your thoughts about this?

Cassper Insists on Fighting AKA as He Searches for His Next Boxing Opponent

0

Following his first-round knockout victory between the ropes against Priddy Ugly, SA rapper and entrepreneur Refiloe Maele Phoolo commonly known as Cassper Nyovest took to Twitter to taunt his decade-long arch-enemy into getting into the ring with him. When tweeps asked Cassper what’s next for him as regards the sport he has come to fall in love with. Cassper responded by saying he wants to go back to the original reason he got into the ring in the first place; to fight AKA, but knowing that Supa Mega will not oblige to the invitation, he is open to the idea of fighting anybody else who is up to the challenge.

Many fans believed before and after his fight with Priddy Ugly that the weight and height differences between both rappers gave him an unfair advantage and he should fight somebody his own size next, a tweep even suggested Big Zulu, and Mufasa responded that he was up to the challenge.

Cassper still insisted that he really wants AKA in the ring because he wants to hurt Kiernan for slapping him years ago and cussing at his parents.

Casper said the reason he did not retaliate at the time was to protect his brand and his career was still in it’s early stage and dependent on brand endorsements.

I was living off endorsements and I had to protect my brand. Me walking away worked for me. My brand is 10 times worth whatever he got going on and I own my shit now. His life is a mess cause he was going around slapping people and standing behind his bodyguards and acting tough.” He tweeted.

Albeit AKA has said in recent interviews that he holds no grudges towards Cassper and owes Nyovest’s parents an apology for his uncouth behavior, blaming it all on youthful exuberance.

“Also I’m not proud of swearing at his parents you know to tell you the truth and I definitely owe them an apology,” he said.  “I don’t hate him, I don’t have any feelings anymore they’re all gone like butterflies and I have put different feelings inside myself, feelings of gratitude for just being alive.”
