Lil Wayne, Mos Def, Durkio, Ari Lennox, and Others Make ‘The Forever Story’ Feature List.

Official Dreamville social media pages have rolled out the official tracklist and features for JID’s forthcoming third studio album ‘The Forever Story.’ Frequent producer Christo is handling a majority of the production and JID himself is taking up more production responsibilities for the project.

Features include frequent collaborator Kenny Mason, legend Yasiin Bey formerly known as Mos Def, Lil Wayne, Chicago rapper Lil Durk, Dreamville singer Ari Lennox, etc.

JID also gave contribution credits to Mereba of Spillage Village, Justine Skye, James Blake, Foushee etc.

With the versatility in the collaboration choices, the album is looking to be a shift into a wider sonic ambiance and artistic direction.

The 15-song tracklist also includes a sequel to his 2017 song ‘Lauder’ from his debut album, titled ‘Lauder Too.’

The rapper whose real name is Destin Choice Route has previously released two studio albums, three compilation albums, two extended plays (EPs), four mixtapes, and fifteen singles.

JID’s debut studio album, ‘The Never Story,’ was released on March 10, 2017, immediately after he joined the Dreamville roster.

The next year he dropped the sequel to his ‘Dicaprio’ mixtape as his sophomore album titled ‘DiCaprio 2’ with features from Joey Badass and Method Man, the album spawned successful singles like ‘Off Deez’ featuring J.Cole, ‘Hasta Luego,’ and ‘Skrawberries‘ featuring BJ the Chicago Kid.

Listen to JID’s latest single ‘2007‘ below, it could not make the album due to sample clearance issues but it’s still an essential part of the album roll-out and creation process.
