Cape Town rap princess, Dee Koala, is back on our screens and enlists MagleraDoeBoy and director, Fergus David Hannah for the Gwan music video.
The cinematic visuals depict life in the hood, shot in Khayelitsha which so happens to be home to Dee. In the hard-hitting street anthem, the rappers detail their experiences in the townships while also intimidating their rivals.
In the video, Dee Koala and MDB send their goons out to hastily capture a threat who is taken to a dark, secluded area to be tormented while tied to a chair.
By end of the video, after enduring countless beatings and ridicule, the hostage is set free into the night.
