Must Read

Pretoria-born rapper 25k, and Former Ambitiouz entertainment signee,A-Reece, have both received a Gold certification plaque from The Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA), for selling 10, 000 units of their 2021 smash hit collaboration, ‘Hustler’s Prayer.’

The song which was recorded around the time A-Reece lost his father was a popular concert choice for both artists, and a fan favorite, especially the outstanding verse by Reece about his father’s passing.

25k is a new school indigenous rapper from Atteridgeville, Pretoria, who represents his city heavily in his music, hence titling his 2021 debut album, ‘Pheli Makaveli.‘  Atteridgeville is commonly known as “Phelindaba” or “Pheli” which is an isiZulu expression for “End of Story”.

A-Reece too hails from Pheli, this must be why both rappers relate so well in and out of the booth.
