Must Read

Hard-hitting Kenya-based Tanzanian rapper Ten Ballz is back with a new jam. He shows his artistic versatility by featuring Dully Sykes on the track titled Mtoto Wamoto.

Ten Ballz is an artist from Tanzania but is now based in Kenya. He has a growing reputation as a rapper/singer. The gifted artist has been working diligently on creating a new sound in RnB & Afrobeat/Afropop which has the flavour of bongo Tanzania music.

He derived the stage name “Ten Ballz” from a street cypher, where his fellow rappers appraised him as someone with “Ten Heads” which signifies that he has the wisdom of 10 brains in one. He is also known in the music world as Mr Shakara, a title he got from one of his hit songs.

Ten Ballz started writing his own music and also writing for others at the age of 15 years. He continued his work in local theatre, select, chorus, solo performances and charity functions. By age 20, he started his professional music career by forming a band. In 2017, the band went their separate ways. Two years later Ten Ballz decided to go solo.
