Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif and AfroPop singer Ayra Starr have been announced as the only Africans performing at Pharrell William’s “Something in the Water“ concert this year.
The event is slated to hold at Virginia beach from the 28th to the 30th of April and will feature great musical performances, hit-packed DJ sessions, and a lot more.
The event last year had Davido and Adekunle Gold from Nigeria as the only Africans who made the lineup.
For many reasons, the festival is considered one of the biggest festivals to look forward to, as they will be performing alongside some of the biggest superstars from around the world.
This is a big platform for both talents to further showcase their talent and gain new ground as well.
This fit is even better because Blacko as a rapper from Ghana, west Africa will get to share the big stage with some of the biggest stars from around the world and Ayra is also not left out of this joy.

Blacko is still basking in the honor of dropping one of the biggest Hip-hop projects last year, while Ayra Starr on the other hand has been riding an endless wave of dropping chart-topping hit singles. They also both featured on the “Creed 3” album tracklist, another great fit for both of them.
