Cassper Nyovest began the trend of celebrity boxing among artists in South Africa, as a first a means to soar against and settle the beef with his late arch-rival AKA, (RIP SUPA MEGA). AKA backed out of the fight at the last minute and Cassper had to settle for a bout in the ring against YouTuber Slik Talk, and subsequently a loss to NaakMusiq and a Knockout victory against East Rand rapper Priddy Ugly.
Today, more and more SA artists and celebrities are engaging in celebrity charity boxing matches. Inkabi boss Big Zulu has been asking for a bout versus Nyovest since the latter’s bout against Priddy Ugly and plans have been made but nothing concrete has been announced yet.
Big Zulu had to settle for another challenger in the person of Brian Dings, and Nyovest was in the crowd to watch the fight.
After the fight Cassper was sure about his victory against the ‘Imali Eningi’ rapper. stating that he is not bothered about the size and weight advantage on Big Zulu’s side.
“Of course, I came here to watch him fight and I wanted to see what he got, I’m actually more confident now to fight him even after the knockout,” Cassper said.
“I think he’s exactly what I thought he would be, a big puncher, always relying on his right. The fight was short but I think it’s exactly what I thought he would be.”
“Im not too considerate about the weight, I think I trust my skills and he could be as heavy as he wants to be. In fact, I think that would actually work to my advantage if he is heavier.” Cassper added.

South African fashion entrepreneur turned rapper Michael Chirwa, popularly known as Stilo Magolide has come out to announce that the next celebrity match up will be between him and the Inkabi boss.
The fight will take place on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 at, as announced on Instagram.
Several celebrities reacted in surprise under the post including You g Stunna’, Okmalumkoolkat, Mashbeatz, Sol Phenduka etc. One comment read, “when did you train man?” Referring to Stilo Magolide.
