Cassper Praises Emtee’s Performance on New Nasty C Snippet

Don Billiato, SA rap mogul, Refiloe Maele Phoolo, most popularly known as Cassper Nyovest has showered praises on South African trap star and former Ambitiouz Entertainment artist, for his performance on Nasty C’s new snippet of a collab by the latter two.

Following the success of the Ivyson Army Tour, Nasty C is not slowing down and is about to release new music. The Durban, KwaZulu-Natal rapper announced on his Instagram that he was working on a new tape, the ‘Ivyson Army Tape,‘ and posted some snippets of songs to make the tape.

Cassper expressed his admiration for Emtee’s performance on the track titled ‘Born to Win,’ coincidentally the last time Nasty C and Emtee worked together was in 2017 on a song similarly titled ‘Winning.’

Emtee has gained notoriety for making killer hooks for most of the rappers in SA hip hop. Emtee and Cassper have both worked with some of South Africa’s hottest stars, but have never been in a booth together.

The closest they came to working together was when a session was booked for both artists in 2020 and Emtee never showed up, his phone also being switched.

‘Cassper stated that he would love to collaborate with the African Trap Movement pioneer, because he believes he possesses so much skill, Saying “I loved Emtee,” said Cassper. “I really wanted to work with him and I wanted to help him build back up again cause I think he is immensely talented.” Said Cassper.
