Ladipoe Nominated for Trace Digital Artist of the Year at the Gage Awards

  1. The GAGE Awards is a comprehensive promotion and celebration of digital personalities and brands in Nigeria and Africa with strong federal government backing through the Nigerian Communications Commision and National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

This year’s event will feature the biggest brands and personalities in Fintech, Adtech, Edtech, Healthtech, Insurtech, Logistics and Supply, Content and Media etc. Booths are already on sale.

The GAGE Awards has announced nominees for this year and opened its voting portals for the public.

Making the declaration in Lagos, the organizers made public nominees of various categories, noting that the remaining 13 categories will be selected by GAGE Awards’ eminent jury.

Nigerian rapper Ladipo Eso popularly known as “ladipoe” or “Poe” has been nominated as the trace digital artist of the year among others. On 28 February 2017, Ladipoe signed a record deal with Mavin Records. He rose to prominence with the song “Feel Alright” where he got featured by SDC “Show Dem Camp.

Other artists nominated alongside ladipoe are ‘ckay , fire boy dml, Goya mentor, and Buju (BNXN).

Voting begins on the 28th of March, 2022, and will span a total of 11 categories.

This year’s GAGE Awards slated to hold on the 11th of June”, will be featuring nominees in the following categories:

The awards will also feature a 2-day Tech Exhibition with the theme, “Co-Create 2022”, which is scheduled to hold on the 9th and 10th of June, at Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.
