J.Cole Starts Slow in Canadian Basketball League

Must Read

New Scarborough Shooting Stars Guard and superstar rapper, Jermaine Cole is suffering a slow start in the Canadian Elite  Basketball League, after getting signed by the franchise through a link from Canadian rapper and Toronto raptors superfan, Drake.

Cole’s profile reads  6′ feet 3 inches, Guard in the number 15 shirt. Jermaine previously played a season in Rwanda where he was fairly successful, for a 37-year-old playing his first season of professional basketball, before opting to leave for the Elite League.

The Guelph Nighthawks won 89-80 in their season opener, won against Cole’s team topping the Scarborough Shooting Stars  front of a packed-out arena. J.Cole finished the game with 3 points, 1 assist, and 1 rebound, a struggling start for the American.

It is interesting to note that Cole headlines Bonnaroo, a day after the Shooting Stars have an away game against the Fraser Valley Bandits and is also supposed to play against the Edmonton Stingers and headline Governors Ball on the same day.

How will the celebrity Guard balance his basketball career with rap stardom? If Vince Carter can attend his graduation from North Carolina and play in an NBA playoff Game 7 on the same day, J.Cole can definitely play against the Edmonton Stingers and headline Governors Ball, fans stated.
