Penthauze rapper Superboy Cheque has resurfaced on social media after getting dragged for some ballsy statements he made last month about being the best trap artist in Africa. After returning from his hiatus the rapper wasted no time in sharing what he has been working on— a new single to usher in his EP coming 9th June.
On the 25th of May Superboy Cheque released the awaited collaboration with Mavins act Crayon, titled ‘Sunflawa’ and the sun has been raving all over Naija twitter since it dropped.
Cheque has been rampantly making content to promote his new single and one of them landed him in trouble, yet again.
A video surfaced with Cheque in a car, scrolling through pictures of female celebrities he desires to be his “Sunflawa,” on his phone.
The celebrities included Tems and Chef chi, whose picture he zoomed into. This act got him under fire from Twitter NG, with some calling him out for disrespecting Davido, Chef Chi’s fiance.
Cheque had to make a tweet apologizing publicly to OBO, stating that he meant no disrespect to the man who has always been there for him and even jumped on the remix to Cheque’e first number one song.
Davido retweeted the tweet and quoted it with a heart emoji to show that there are no hard feelings on his end, towards the ‘Zoom’ rapper.
What do you think of the controversy, was it worth the dragging?
