Cassper Explains Why He Doesn’t Enjoy Performing In Clubs. The Covid-19 pandemic has really changed the way things are done, especially when it comes to the events space. Rapper, producer and entrepreneur Cassper Nyovest is known to give crowd-pleasing performances and is best known for his fill-up concerts, which are known for selling out. The popular artist recently took to social media to reflect on how he doesn’t enjoy performing in the clubs.

The club scene in South Ah is currently booming as the country opens up more acts are being booked to perform at the hottest spots. Cassper now that he has returned home is booked and busy it seems he is not enjoying it so much. The popular rapper explained to his fanbase that he would rather perform festivals or his own stadium shows than at the club. Cassper detailed that people at the clubs are looking to hear music and dance as opposed to really watching performances from artists.

The multi-award-winning rapper also expressed that he can’t wait till the country gets to a point where Covid is over and things could pick up again. “I don’t enjoy performing in clubs like I enjoyed playing at festivals and my own stadium shows. People in the club aren’t really there to see performances. They want to hear music and dance. I really can’t wait to we over covid, I feel we have even forgotten how dangerous it is,” shared Cassper. The club scene is certainly not for all artists, last year Kwesta returned to club performances after bowing out in July 2019. The rapper took the decision to stop performing at clubs, as stages were small to set everything up for his performances. “It’s too small to set everything up, so I’ve decided to stop doing those kind of gigs. I want to give everyone a show they deserve, unless the club can provide that type of setup,” Kwesta explained at the time.

“I don’t enjoy performing in clubs like I enjoyed playing at festivals and my own stadium shows. People in the club aren’t really there to see performances. They want to hear music and dance. I really can’t wait to we over covid, I feel we have even forgotten how dangerous it is.

Several big music events had to be cancelled or postponed due to the pandemic, this resulted in event space taking a huge knock. Iconic venues such as the Ticketpro Dome found themselves having to close their doors and sell the popular event’s venue due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The closure of the venue was sad news for many South Africans, especially Cassper who still had plans to return to the venue for yet another fill-up concert. “This hurts. wanted to do 1 more show there when the country opens. I’m not okay,” tweeted the rapper in reaction to the closure.
