Ghanaian rap heavyweight and living legend Sarkodie who recently got married just released a new song titled ‘Black Excellence’
The song features the vocals of President Akufo-Addo on it. The Award-winning rapper whose real name is Michael Owusu Addo but popularly known as Sarkodie calls this one ‘Black Excellence’ (Ebibi Man)which is a commentary on African (Ghanaian) mentality, corruption and financial security. The rapper Sarkodie lashes out on politicians and public office holders who inflate the cost of contracts for their benefits. He also admonishes the youth on the need for young people to properly invest their money rather than showing off to impress friends and the opposite sex. Sarkodie touches on what is said to be the African mentality which has impeded the growth of the continent.
